Blood pressure is the force of the blood pushing against the walls of arteries. each time the heartbeat, it pumps out blood into the arteries. Blood pressure is at its highest when the heart pumps or ejects blood. this is called Systolic Blood pressure. Blood pressure is at its lowest when the heart rests(in between beats) this is called Diastolic Blood pressure.
