This form of wet extracted virgin coconut oil, extracted from green coconut (vs dried copra) retains maximum anti oxidants, moisture and anti bacterial properties because of a unique component in it called auric acid and caprice acid. This form of extraction yields very little oil and it is the true virgin coconut oil. A great way to recognise a good quality virgin coconut oil is that it has a fresh mild coconut smell and not a strong nutty roasted smell.
