Azul was designed by the world famous, award winning game author Michael Riesling. Azul captures the beautiful aesthetics of Moorish art in a contemporary board game.
Players compete as artisans decorating the walls of the royal Palace of Dvora. By carefully drafting the correct Quantity and style of tiles, the most clever of artisans plan ahead to maximize the beauty of their work (not to mention their scores!) while ensuring they wasted no supplies in the process.
How To Play Azul!
On your turn, you’ll select tiles from one of the available market discs. However, when selecting, you must take all matching tiles from that disc. Next, you’ll select a row to add the tiles you’ve collected. This prepares the tiles to be added to the matching row in your display. If take too many tiles, and cannot fit them on the row, the leftover tiles will fall to the floor, costing you points at the end of the game.
Game plays in 30-40 minutes; Azul game is a tile placement game and Compete for the highest score by claiming tiles and arranging them on your board to score points.
How to Play – pick the tiles of the same color from any factory display or from the general offer. Align all tiles on one of your pattern lines. Tile a wall and score points.
This board game for adults and family can be played with 2 to 4 players and is suitable for ages 8 and older. The average playtime is 30 – 45 minutes.
Draft tiles from a central market and place them into rows on their boards. Earn extra points by collecting sets of the same color tile and creating particular patterns. Be careful – there are penalties for taking tiles that you can’t use.
