Factors may cause reading errors:
Conduct SpO2 measurement on the finger smeared with nail polish;Body or finger is in motion;Finger is not in the proper position;Finger temperature is too low;Low blood perfusion;Electromagnetic interference;Interference due to ambient light.
Index Finger is the most recommended. If the finger is too small to be detected, you could use middle finger or big thumb.
